Scott Parrish
Scott grew up just down the road in Colfax, WA and currently resides there. While growing up he participated in a variety of organized sports as a youth and eventually settled on playing baseball, basketball and football during his high school years. After high school, Scott went off to play college baseball at Big Bend Community College for two seasons, followed by another two seasons at Central Washington University as a pitcher.
Since his playing days Scott has been heavily involved in the local youth baseball scene, running tournaments, helping at local camps and coaching at Colfax High School for the past four seasons and a total of nine seasons all together. Scott also had spent time coaching and working in the college ranks with Big Bend Community College as a pitching coach and with Washington State University as a graduate assistant.
It was during his time at Washington State where Scott got his first introduction to high intensity training, working out with several of the strength trainers and doing their own daily workouts. From that point on he began doing drop ins at as many of the nearby boxes until he became a full time member of Pullman CrossFit in March of 2015 and has been an active member ever since.
What began as a great way to stay in shape while being able to embrace the competition aspect offered by CrossFit, Scott formed a passion for CrossFit, the Pullman CrossFit community and being able to spread that passion to all those seeking a greater level of fitness.

Danielle (Dani)
On any given day you can typically find me doing one of four things: lifting various colors of bumper plates with a steel rod on my back or in my hands; eating some concoction of protein and carbs; sipping an energy drink at a cafe studying, or running my black and white pup.
Oh, and of course, coaching amazing people.

Meghan
Meghan grew up in Columbus, OH (Go Buckeyes!). She was a competitive gymnast from an early age until high school and enjoyed the challenge of learning and perfecting new skills. Although gymnastics was her main athletic priority, she was always a generalist, trying other sports such as ice skating, cross country, track, rowing, and cheerleading.
Meghan was introduced to CrossFit by her sister in 2016 and was immediately taken by the challenge and similarity to her days in gymnastics. She joined a CrossFit gym in Kentucky where she was completing her master’s degree and competed in her first CrossFit Open in 2017. She loves the variety and constant challenges of CrossFit and quickly became a strong member of the CrossFit community.
Meghan moved to Pullman, WA in the fall of 2017 to pursue a Ph.D. in Environment and Natural Resource Sciences. She spends most of her time catching salamanders and frogs, working with DNA, and writing research papers. Outside of her academic work, she can almost certainly be found at Pullman CrossFit. She was a member of the gym for multiple years before earning her CrossFit Level 1 Certificate in 2021. She loves working with members on new skills, introducing new people to CrossFit, and encouraging members to be their best in and out of the gym.

Cory
Cory grew up just north of Spokane Washington in Nine Mile Falls. He came to Pullman to attend WSU where he graduated, with honors, earning a BS in Astrophysics. During his time as a student, he worked part-time at the Pullman-Moscow Regional Airport as an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter. Although he loved learning about physics, astronomy, and the inner workings of the universe he decided a career in academia was just not a good fit for him and instead accepted a full-time position at the Airport after graduation. Now he is a Captain for the Airport Fire Department and an Airport Operations Specialist. Fitness has been also been a major component in Cory’s life for at least the last decade. He found CrossFit in 2015 and immediately discovered what his fitness life had been missing up to that point. CrossFit has been the backbone of his pursuit of health and fitness ever since. In 2018 Cory earned his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate in order to help others pursue health and fitness in their own lives. He also earned a weightlifting specialty certificate in 2019. Cory also strives to be competitive in the sport of CrossFit as well as other fitness competitions and obstacle course races. He is always seeking to better all facets of his physical capacity and ability.

Kaycee
Kaycee started CrossFit in 2016, certified level 1 in 2018, and joined Pullman Crossfit in January of 2020. She began coaching the following October. Currently juggling the gym, another job, and nursing school you may only see her once or twice a week at 5:15 am but she’s still full of bad jokes and energy. She loves anything to do with hanging from the bar and seems to always have an ankle injury on running days.

He has consistently held physical fitness, competition, and overall wellness at the top of his list of priorities. Growing up in a household where his mother was a certified personal trainer for 30 plus years ingrained in him the many benefits physically and mentally of exercise. In 2015 Pete decided to make a change in his life and moved to Pullman to obtain a Master’s in Education and now works full time as a teacher in Clarkston, WA but resides in Pullman.
